Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the PBB clearance zone and verify that no ground support equipment (GSE) or personnel are obstructing the bridge's path before movement.
- Operate Passenger Boarding Bridge equipment in accordance with approved operational procedures.
- Coordinate with ramp control, AOCC, airlines, and ground handling agents prior to and during PBB operations.
- Perform pre-operation checks of PBB equipment and report any abnormalities or malfunctions.
- Ensure safe connection and disconnection of PBBs to aircraft in line with procedures.
- Monitor PBB operation during boarding and disembarkation activities and respond to operational instructions.
- Immediately report equipment faults, incidents, or safety concerns to the PBB Operations Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational readiness of assigned PBB equipment.
- Support accurate logging and reporting of PBB operations and incidents.
- Follow communication protocols and operational instructions during normal and irregular operations.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors within the scope of PBB operations.


Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Vocational Education in technical or mechanical fields.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in airside equipment operation, PBB operations, or airport operational environments.
- Familiarity with different aircraft door configurations and specific docking requirements for various aircraft models.
- Knowledge of Passenger Boarding Bridge operation and basic equipment controls.
- Ability to follow operational procedures and safety instructions accurately.
- Understanding of coordination between AOCC, ramp, and airline operations.
- Basic reporting and communication skills.
