Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Procurement Officer and provide backup support when needed in preparing procurement documents and sourcing activities
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain updated tracking records for all submitted Purchase Requests (PRs)
- Conduct market research to identify supplier availability and local sourcing opportunities
- Develop and maintain supplier rosters and evaluation mechanisms
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure effective communication between program, finance, logistics teams, and suppliers
- Prepare procurement reports highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
- Participate in field visits to monitor project implementation, supplier performance, and compliance with contracts
- Inspect supplied materials and verify compliance with agreed specifications and contractual conditions


Qualifications
-Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
-A minimum of two years of experience in humanitarian volunteering, particularly in logistics and procurement.
-Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc)
-Good in English

Salary and Benefits
As per FCA salary scale
Contract will be Service contract for 2 months renewable according to the budget availability and performance.
