Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
The Programs Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and enhancing the organization's programs and projects to ensure their effective implementation and alignment with organizational priorities and objectives. The role oversees program design, implementation follow-up, stakeholder coordination, performance monitoring, reporting, and impact assessment to ensure programs achieve their intended outcomes and contribute to sustainable organizational impact.
The position works closely with internal departments, external partners, service providers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery, efficient resource utilization, and continuous improvement of program quality and effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Planning & Development
* Lead the planning and development of programs and projects in line with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
* Review project plans and identify programmatic requirements necessary for successful implementation.
* Contribute to the design of new initiatives and programs based on organizational priorities and identified needs.
* Develop implementation plans, monitoring frameworks, and program delivery approaches.
* Identify opportunities to enhance existing programs and improve overall program effectiveness.
Program Implementation & Coordination
* Oversee and monitor the implementation of programs and projects to ensure timely achievement of objectives and deliverables.
* Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to facilitate effective program execution.
* Follow up on program activities and ensure alignment with approved plans and implementation schedules.
* Support the resolution of operational and implementation challenges affecting program delivery.
* Ensure effective communication and coordination among all parties involved in program implementation.
* Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, consultations, and other program-related activities.
Program Monitoring, Reporting & Performance Management
* Establish and monitor program performance indicators and implementation milestones.
* Track program progress and analyze results against approved objectives and targets.
* Prepare periodic program reports, progress updates, and management summaries.
* Develop clear and accurate reports that support informed decision-making and program improvement.
* Monitor program performance and identify risks, challenges, and areas requiring corrective action.
* Maintain program documentation and ensure the availability of accurate and up-to-date information.
Stakeholder Engagement & External Relations
* Coordinate with partners, consultants, service providers, and relevant stakeholders to support program implementation.
* Participate in meetings and consultations with external stakeholders and relevant entities.
* Build and maintain productive working relationships that support program objectives.
* Facilitate communication and information sharing between the organization and external stakeholders.
* Support partnership development initiatives that contribute to program effectiveness and sustainability.
Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
* Conduct program reviews and contribute to impact assessments and evaluation activities.
* Analyze program results and assess the effectiveness of implemented activities.
* Document lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for future programming.
* Propose improvements that enhance program quality, efficiency, and impact.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of program management tools, procedures, and methodologies.
* Promote evidence-based decision-making and organizational learning.

Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
* Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
* Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, PMD Pro, or equivalent) are considered an advantage.
Experience
* Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in program management, project management, development programs, or related fields.
* Previous experience in non-profit organizations is preferred.
* Previous volunteer experience is considered an advantage.
Language Skills
* Very good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
