Responsibilities
Initiate and manage purchase orders for machinery, spare parts, and consumables in line with dealership and customer requirements.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and delivery notes to confirm accuracy of items against specifications (part numbers, quality, and quantity).
• Conduct market research on heavy equipment parts and consumables, monitoring pricing trends and availability.
• Support sales and service teams in preparing quotations and BOQs by providing accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Finance to process supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with procurement and warranty requirements.
• Source quotations for new parts, attachments, and consumables; prepare comparative analyses of price, specifications, and quality.
• Manage offshore procurement activities, including documentation for shipping, customs clearance, and compliance with global supply chain requirements.
• Maintain and update the “Approved Vendor List” in line with dealership standards and supplier performance reviews.
• Coordinate with freight agencies to monitor shipping rates, delivery schedules, and prepare comparative reviews for management approval.
• Participate in industry exhibitions and trade shows to strengthen supplier relationships and explore innovative sourcing opportunities.


Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
•Professional certification in procurement/supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is advantageous.
•3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial sectors.
•Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, OEM supplier management, and dealership operations.
•Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
•Skilled in using ERP/CRM systems.
•Knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and compliance regulations.
