Responsibilities
• Perform cargo acceptance, build-up, breakdown, and delivery activities as per standard operating procedures and airline requirements.
• Handle cargo documentation and data entry in the system, ensuring information accuracy for import and export consignments.
• Conduct physical inspection and verification of cargo type, weight, packaging, and labeling before acceptance.
• Ensure proper segregation, storage, and handling of special cargo (e.g., dangerous goods, perishables, live animals, valuables).
• Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, trolleys, and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhere to Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures at all times.
• Assist in inventory checks, warehouse housekeeping, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas.
• Report any cargo discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Coordinate with airlines, customs, freight forwarders, and security to facilitate timely cargo processing.
• Ensure proper documentation control and compliance with airport and customs regulations.

Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport cargo and warehouse operations.
• Basic understanding of IATA cargo procedures and airport warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, cargo documentation, and security awareness.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role (this point to be available for all roles that have SAP access).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport cargo and warehouse operations.
