Responsibilities
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day implementation of construction and installations activities for the targeted site.
• Coordinate closely with the WASH Project Assistant and contractors to ensure quality and timely implementation.
• Prepare, review, and update project work plans and progress reports.
• Conduct frequent field visits to monitor progress, identify gaps, and document field findings.
• Ensure activities comply with engineering standards and donor requirements.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and technical reports in coordination with the engineering team.
• Support the MEAL team in monitoring, evaluation, and verification processes.
• Participate in coordination meetings with local water units and municipalities when required.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring proper archiving and confidentiality.
• Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to the WASH & Shelter Senior Officer.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager, in alignment with project needs.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
BA in Civil, Mechanical or electrical engineering
General Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing or implementing WASH projects, particularly in schools or facilities construction /rehabilitation.
Proven experience in project planning, coordination, reporting, and monitoring.
Experience in supervising technical teams and ensuring compliance with engineering and humanitarian standard
Skills
• Languages:
• Excellent Arabic (spoken and written) and good English skills.
• Computing: Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and engineering design tools (AutoCAD required).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of WASH and Shelter humanitarian standards (SPHERE, INEE).
• Project Management: Strong skills in planning, reporting, and team supervision.
• Coordination: Ability to liaise effectively with local authorities, contractors, and community stakeholders.

- Strong reporting, communication, negotiating, facilitating, and presenting skills.
- Demonstrated people management, project management, and decision-making abilities.
