Responsibilities
• Oversee the regular testing and inspection of terminal-wide fire detection and suppression systems (e.g., sprinklers, smoke extractors, fire panels) in coordination with facility maintenance.
• Develop and review sector-specific evacuation plans for high-density areas such as check-in halls, duty-free zones, and boarding gates.
• Supervise the audit of fire-rated barriers and fire doors to ensure they meet safety compliance and building code requirements.
• Act as the Incident Commander for terminal-related emergencies until the arrival of senior fire officials or external authorities
• Supervise terminal firefighting personnel during assigned shifts and ensure operational readiness.
• Lead response to fire, smoke, evacuation, and emergency incidents within terminal buildings.
• Coordinate terminal firefighting activities with ARFF, AOCC, terminal operations, and external emergency services.
• Ensure firefighting equipment, systems, and facilities within terminals are operational and ready for use.
• Implement firefighting and emergency response procedures and tactical instructions.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and operational discipline.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of terminal firefighting incidents and drills.
• Support emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and preparedness activities.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job leadership to terminal firefighting specialists.
• Support shift handover activities and continuity of terminal firefighting operations.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management within the scope of terminal firefighting supervision

Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Firefighting, Emergency Management, Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in firefighting, emergency response, or facility firefighting operations.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role is preferred.
• Deep understanding of NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) and local building fire safety regulations.
• Proficiency in interpreting building blueprints and fire alarm system mapping.
• Knowledge of firefighting techniques and emergency response within building environments.
• Understanding of coordination between terminal operations, ARFF, and control centers.
• Ability to lead emergency response activities under pressure.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
