Responsibilities
• Monitor the integrity of Restricted Articles and Prohibited Items lists, ensuring all screening personnel are updated on current prohibited items regulations.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of aviation security protocols and procedures.
• Support the coordination of security-related tasks and activities, including screening, access control, and surveillance operations.
• Monitor and report security incidents, breaches, and irregularities to supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining and operating security equipment, such as scanners and alarms, ensuring they are functional and properly maintained.
• Conduct routine security checks and inspections to ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Support investigations and incident reporting as directed by the Security Supervisor.
• Participate in security drills and exercises to ensure readiness for potential security threats.
• Assist in the documentation and record-keeping of security-related activities, incidents, and inspections.
• Support training and awareness programs for airport staff and security personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Aviation Security Management Supervisor.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Security, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation security, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Understanding of SMS (Security Management System) principles and risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of aviation security regulations and best practices.
• Ability to identify and report potential security threats.
• Familiarity with security equipment and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures strictly.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation security, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Understanding of SMS (Security Management System) principles and risk assessment methodologies.
