Responsibilities
KEY Responsibilities:

•Directly supervise field data collectors, MEAL assistants, and enumerator teams; allocate daily field tasks, monitor execution, and ensure quality and adherence to data collection protocols under the supervision of the MEAL Coordinator.
•Lead the on-ground execution of field monitoring visits, Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), Rapid Needs Assessments (RNA), Rapid Market Assessments (RMA), and baseline/endline studies in accordance with approved MEAL plans.
•Program, test, and deploy survey forms on Kobo Toolbox/ODK, and train enumerators and field staff on digital tools, survey methodologies, and ethical data collection standards.
•Perform routine and rigorous data cleaning, consistency checks, validation, and deduplication on collected datasets; identify and resolve data errors promptly and ensure full compliance with Data Quality Assessment (DQA) standards.
•Support the MEAL Coordinator in maintaining and regularly updating the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) and project databases, calculating progress against targets, and flagging performance discrepancies.
• Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP): Oversee the day-to-day operation of Complaints and Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) at field sites; ensure complaints/feedback are accurately recorded, logged in the database, safely referred, and followed up in a timely manner.
•Coordinate field movements, logistical arrangements, and community entry with local authorities, camp focal points, IDP representatives, and project field teams to ensure smooth and secure data collection processes
•Reporting & Learning: Prepare timely, evidence-based field monitoring reports, PDM summaries, data verification briefs, and dashboard inputs; document field challenges, lessons learned, and good practices to support adaptive programming.
•Ensure all field MEAL operations strictly comply with organizational safety/security standard operating procedures, humanitarian principles, 'Do No Harm' frameworks, and beneficiary data protection protocols.


Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

•A university degree in business administration, quality management, statistics, social sciences, computer science, or other relevant scientific field with strong analytical skills, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and field MEAL experience.

General Work Experience:
•At least 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) with humanitarian or development non-governmental organizations.
•Demonstrated hands-on experience in leading field data collection, supervising enumerators/volunteers, and conducting field monitoring assessments (PDMs, RNAs, RMAs, Baseline/Endline).
•Proven experience in designing and deploying digital survey tools on Kobo Toolbox / ODK, conducting routine data cleaning, and performing data quality verification.
•Proven experience in drafting structured monitoring reports, summarizing findings, and assisting in indicator tracking in both Arabic and English.

•Computing:
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Bi) in addition to digital data collection tools such as Kobo Toolbox.
•Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across different departments and teams.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with good problem-solving abilities.
•Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and address errors.

•Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with the capacity to supervise, coach, and guide enumerators and field data collectors.
