Responsibilities
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Program/Technical Delivery
• Support the implementation of child protection activities across designated schools and project areas.
• Conduct at least two field visits to each designated school per month, including school environment assessments and follow-up on the implementation of child protection procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Psychosocial Support Officers and Child Protection Officers on the implementation of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Develop and utilize appropriate tools to assess the application of child protection policies and procedures within schools.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
• Coordinate with school staff, Education Directorate representatives, Child Protection Officers, Psychosocial Support Officers, and community committees to support the implementation of child protection activities.
• Maintain regular communication with relevant stakeholders to facilitate activity planning, implementation, and follow-up.
• Support coordination between schools and community protection committees to strengthen child protection mechanisms.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
• Monitor the implementation and quality of child protection activities across designated schools and identify gaps.
• Collect, review, and analyse project data and contribute to regular updates and reports.
• Document lessons learned and good practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Resource Management & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, child protection standards, and project procedures.
• Ensure the appropriate and efficient use of project materials and resources during field activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and supporting documents in line with organizational requirements.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building
• Supervise and support Psychosocial Support Officers, providing continuous technical guidance and capacity-building support to enhance their performance and ensure effective implementation of activities.
• Identify capacity gaps and provide coaching, feedback, and follow-up support to strengthen staff performance and improve the quality of services

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Education, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, diversity, and inclusion.
