Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of life-skills activities in line with approved project plans, methodologies, targets and UNICEF requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to life-skills facilitators and support the effective delivery of structured, interactive and adolescent-centred sessions.
- Support the adaptation and use of life-skills curricula, session plans, learning materials and participatory tools according to adolescents' age, needs, context and abilities.
- Conduct regular field visits and session observations to monitor quality, provide coaching and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with TVET, Youth Initiatives/Participation and other ADAP teams to ensure complementarity and linkages between life-skills, skills development, youth participation and community engagement activities.
- Support the meaningful participation of adolescents in identifying needs, shaping activities and providing feedback on programme quality and relevance.
- Work with the- team to monitor participation, activity quality and results, maintain accurate programme data and support evidence-based improvements.
- Contribute to facilitator training, coaching, learning and documentation of good practices and lessons learned.
- Ensure that life-skills activities promote safe, inclusive, gender-responsive and non-discriminatory participation, with appropriate safeguarding and protection measures.
- Provide timely technical inputs to the ADAP Project Manager for programme reporting, planning and implementation decisions.
- Work Location: Aleppo and Idlib.

Qualifications
- University degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Youth Development, Sociology or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in life-skills, adolescent/youth development, education, community engagement or related programmes, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating or supporting adolescent life-skills programmes, including participatory and learner-centred approaches.
- Experience in training, coaching and supervising facilitators and working with adolescents and vulnerable groups is highly desirable.
- Experience with UNICEF/UN-supported programmes and knowledge of safeguarding, child rights, gender and inclusion is an advantage.
