Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning, coordination and quality assurance of remedial classes, ELP and digital/blended learning activities, ensuring alignment with approved programme approaches, workplans and targets.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to relevant teams, teachers and facilitators, ensuring effective delivery of learning sessions and consistent application of approved methodologies.
- Facilitate the referral and transition of eligible learners from remedial/NFE programmes to formal education, where relevant, in coordination with families, schools, education authorities and relevant project teams.
- Support the development, adaptation and effective use of learning materials, lesson plans, digital content and assessment tools appropriate to learners' needs and levels.
- Coordinate teacher/facilitator training and ongoing coaching on learning recovery, child-centred pedagogy, inclusive education, classroom management, digital learning and protection.
- Monitor implementation quality and learning progress through classroom observation, technical follow-up, learner assessment and field visits, identifying gaps and supporting timely corrective actions.
- Work closely with the M&E team to ensure accurate monitoring of education indicators, learning outcomes and beneficiary participation, and use evidence to strengthen programme implementation.
- Promote inclusive and safe learning environments, with attention to children affected by learning loss, out-of-school children, children with disabilities and other vulnerable learners.
- Contribute to programme reporting, documentation of good practices and lessons learned, and provide timely technical inputs to the Education Project Manager and UNICEF reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant education authorities, technical partners and project teams to ensure coherence, complementarity and quality of education interventions.
- Work Location: Aleppo and Idlib.

Qualifications
- University degree in Education, Teaching, Educational Management, Curriculum and Instruction or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in education programming, learning recovery, remedial education, non-formal/alternative education or digital learning, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
- Demonstrated experience in technical coordination, teacher/facilitator support, curriculum or learning-material development, classroom observation and education quality assurance.
- Practical experience in digital/blended learning and/or programmes supporting out-of-school children and learners experiencing learning loss is highly desirable.
- Experience with UNICEF/UN-supported programmes, inclusive education, safeguarding and donor-funded education projects is an advantage.
