Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the centre's operational plans and schedules in coordination with the ADAP Project Manager and in line with approved project plans, standards and safeguarding requirements.
- Manage the daily operation and readiness of the centre, ensuring that facilities, materials, equipment and activity spaces are safe, functional, accessible and suitable for adolescents and youth.
- Coordinate and follow up on the delivery of centre-based activities, including life skills, TVET/entrepreneurship, youth-led initiatives, sports for development, awareness and social mobilization activities, in coordination with relevant technical teams.
- Supervise and support centre staff and facilitators, monitor attendance and performance, and ensure activities are delivered according to agreed schedules and quality standards.
- Lead and support community outreach and mobilization to encourage participation, reach underserved adolescents and youth, and strengthen community acceptance of the centre.
- Maintain regular communication with adolescents, parents/caregivers, community representatives and relevant stakeholders, and incorporate appropriate feedback into centre activities.
- Promote meaningful, safe and inclusive adolescent participation, ensuring that girls, adolescents with disabilities and other vulnerable groups can access and participate in activities without discrimination.
- Monitor participant attendance, activity implementation and use of centre facilities, identify operational challenges and coordinate timely solutions.
- Prepare weekly and periodic centre reports covering activities, participation, attendance, achievements, challenges and required follow-up, and submit them to the ADAP Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with HAND and donor requirements related to safeguarding, child protection, code of conduct, confidentiality, safety and responsible use of centre resources.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, Youth Development or another relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing community centres, youth/adolescent centres, field sites or community-based programmes.
- Demonstrated experience in team supervision, daily operations, community outreach, activity coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with adolescents, youth or vulnerable communities, preferably within humanitarian, development or recovery programmes.
- Experience with NGO/INGO or UN/UNICEF-supported programmes, safeguarding and inclusive programming is an advantage.
