Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the project M&E framework, indicator tracking tools, data collection plans and reporting mechanisms in line with project results and donor requirements.
- Monitor progress against project indicators, targets and workplans across Education and ADAP activities, including return to learning, ECE, ELP, remedial and digital learning, life skills, TVET, youth-led initiatives and youth participation.
- Collect, verify, consolidate and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from project teams and field locations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency and timely reporting.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits and activity observations to assess implementation progress, quality, beneficiary reach and compliance with agreed standards, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Maintain updated databases and indicator tracking systems and support appropriate disaggregation of data by sex, age, location, disability and other relevant characteristics where applicable.
- Support baseline, periodic and end-of-project assessments, beneficiary feedback and other data-collection exercises, ensuring appropriate tools and methodologies are applied.
- Work closely with Project Managers, technical teams and programme staff to identify implementation gaps, document achievements, lessons learned and good practices, and use evidence to improve programme quality.
- Prepare timely M&E inputs for monthly, periodic and donor reports, including progress against targets, key findings, challenges, recommendations and supporting evidence.
- Support accountability and learning by documenting beneficiary feedback and ensuring monitoring findings are communicated to relevant teams and followed up.
- Ensure that monitoring and data-management processes respect confidentiality, safeguarding, protection, inclusion and ethical standards, particularly when collecting information from children and adolescents.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Education or a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, programme monitoring, data management or reporting, preferably with NGOs/INGOs or donor-funded programmes.
- Demonstrated experience in indicator tracking, data collection and verification, quantitative/qualitative analysis, field monitoring and programme reporting.
- Experience in education, youth/adolescent development, humanitarian or recovery programmes is an advantage; familiarity with UN/UNICEF-supported projects and results-based management is preferred.
- Experience using Excel, databases and digital data-collection tools and presenting monitoring findings in clear reports and dashboards.
