Responsibilities
Supervise all MEAL activities of the Damascus base, including potential activities in all Southern and Central governorates;
Manage, monitor and build capacity of MEAL enumerators and MEAL team members in technical areas, as needed and relevant.
Provide specific technical support to Program teams, as needed and relevant, including on topics such as quantitative and qualitative data collection, measure of indicators, complaint response mechanism, do no harm analysis etc.
Contributes to the centralization and harmonization of MEAL tools and processes in the area of intervention, under the lead of MEAL Coordinator.
In collaboration with the MEAL Coordinator, ensure the quality and relevance of internal monitoring and evaluation activities, recommendations and analysis produced by his/her department (studies, maps…)
Contribute to promote collaborative learning for the project and base program:
Contributes to institutional knowledge building and improvement of MEAL methods and techniques
Closely supervise FCRM mechanisms to support projects including analysis and reporting
In collaboration with MEAL Coordinator and together project managers, work on reporting templates and reporting following reporting schedule.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a field related to Project Management, Development studies, Economics, Social science, Political sciences, International relations or equivalent
Education or training in data management and/or data analysis is desirable

Specific Vacancy Requirements
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
1. Good knowledge of analysis framework (quantitative and qualitative) and associated methodologies, including for the implementation of needs assessments.
2. Excellent understanding of project cycle management of humanitarian and/or development program
3. Proficient in the use of Excel and data collect software

TRANSVERSAL SKILLS:
1. Excellent ability to prioritize and work to deadlines efficiently and autonomously
2. Excellent communication and coordination skills
3. Good management skills




Salary and Benefits
As per SI Salary Scale
adding to the basic salary all the benefits provided by SI
contract length will be 6 months "service contract" - renewable
