Responsibilities
1. Follow up on outstanding payments:
- Review financial records to verify debts owed by customers.
- Prepare periodic reports on unpaid invoices.
- Follow up with customers to remind them of due payment dates.
2. Communicate with customers:
- Make phone calls to customers who are late in paying in a polite and effective manner.
- Send emails or official letters to remind customers to pay.
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers to avoid tension or disputes.
3. Negotiate and settle:
- Negotiate with customers facing financial difficulties to determine a payment plan that suits their capabilities.
- Suggest alternative solutions such as payment in installments or granting additional payment periods.
- Review contracts and terms to ensure legal compliance.
4. Prepare reports and analyze data:
- Prepare detailed reports on the performance of collection operations on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Analyze customer data to identify patterns and improve collection strategies.
- Provide recommendations to management on improving collection procedures.
5. Deal with disputes:
- Investigate complaints or disputes related to invoices.
- Ensure that the amounts due are correct and correct any errors that may exist.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve disputes quickly.
6. Support the Finance Team:
- Collaborate with the Accounts Team to ensure records are updated correctly.
- Assist in preparing accounts receivable and collection reports.

- University degree in commerce and economics
- Previous experience in the field of collecting financial dues
