Responsibilities
• Lead the direct implementation of Oxfam FSL activities including community mobilisation, beneficiary registration and verification, and market-based interventions.
• Lead and coordinate Oxfam staff and resources across the EFSVL projects and targeted locations to ensure that programs are implemented in line with Oxfam policy and agreed standards.
• lead stakeholder analysis and village mapping exercises to inform program decision making and delivery process at field level.
• Provide regular technical support to the frontline field team considering value chain methodologies, agribusiness, and market-based approach to ensure quality and standard delivery of the project intervention as per the commitment and compliance of the donor.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual plans of the project in collaboration with the project team.
• Prepare and produce monthly activities progress reports including challenges and action taken and share with the line manager for further action as required.
• Conduct quarterly review meetings with the project team to discuss the progress, challenges and advise any adjustments required considering the changing context.
• Lead community mobilization and beneficiary identification and verification process for urgent response, early recovery, and resilience intervention.
• Support preparation of assessment checklist, tools and analysis and recommendation
• Provide technical guidance and support to Oxfam frontline field staff and local partners in value chain approaches, community mobilization, beneficiary identification and verification, input distribution plan and monitoring and feedback and compliant mechanism.
• Coordinate and support Project Support Committees to participate in decision making and delivery process.
• Organize regular meetings with key stakeholders and market actors at community level to provide updates and timely resolve issues.
• Supervise and support FSL Assistant, site engineers and Oxfam’s volunteers to better deliver on his/her role and responsibilities.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in economic or other related Fields (engineering, social science, agriculture)
• Minimum Three Years of proven Experience in Implementing Food Security and Livelihoods Projects.
• Proven Experience in Local or International NGOs.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing market -based and/or value chain related food security and livelihood project activities.
• Solid experience in project management and project management cycle.
• Demonstrated experience in use of participatory approaches to undertake, assessment and analysis with community leaders, local authorities, private and market actors, and local partners.
• Experience in Working with Stakeholders, Community-Based Organizations, and Local Partners.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or project management tools.
• Pro-active and with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility Under Pressure and ability to manage Work Stress.
• Strong ability to work within team and consult with a wide range of staff colleagues.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic language.
