1. Database and MIS Development:
- Develop a prototype cloud based management information system (online database) using the organizational central Microsoft Office based solutions i.e. Microsoft access, to cater the project achievements, projects reach, and alike program related progress data.
- Supervise the testing and implementation of prototype Management information system (cloud based database) in the mission.
- Integrate various modules and projects to the central MIS system to represent the program level achievements in terms of progress and overall reach.
- Implement a training process for the back end users of the databases and ensure timely debugging of the errors in the online data entry system.
- Design (electronic) data verification/validation systems for input and output data generated through the system.
- Create log in systems for core data holders, and back end users.
- Make sure that the data is backed up and secured as per the data management guidelines of the organization.
2: Data monitoring and supervision:
- Follow up and coordinate with key data focal points at the field level to ensure data is timely entered into the system ensuring optimum level of accuracy.
- Help and support the data focal points to generate appropriate data collection tool or to standardise it at various levels.
- Coordinate with MEAL field and CO based staff, to verify and validate the incoming data by constant follow up with the field, Country office and MEAL teams.
- Generate notifications on non-availability of data and ensure gaps in data packages are fulfilled in a timely manner.
3: Data Analysis:
-Generate an output reporting module for the Management information system which can comprehensively fulfill the diverse needs of various data holders within the mission.
- Support in importing and exporting data from the system and analyse it against ongoing data sharing needs (Both internal and external)
- Generate a monthly and quarterly analysis of reach and project achievements based on the input data to the system.
4: Data Visualization:
- Link the output reporting module with Power BI or any other relevant data visualization system
- Improve and align the data visualization system to constantly help the management get accurate graphics, charts, PPTs and summary tables.
- Help MEAL department and senior management team to create effective presentations on data related to Reach, progress and lessons learnt from the field.
5: Team Support:
- Training to all data users along with continuous support on issues related to access and operation of the system.
Any other task that may be required by Line Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software development Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SQL or .Net coding methods.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in database development and data analysis.
• Strong skills in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is an added advantage.
