Responsibilities
General:
• Conduct beneficiary registration and verification in line with project eligibility criteria.
• Coordinate with beneficiaries before the commencement of activities to ensure timely participation and readiness.
• Participate in delivering Beneficiary Induction sessions, ensuring beneficiaries are informed of project objectives, rights, and responsibilities.
• Archive all related documents (hard copy and electronic) used during implementation in line with FCA's data management standards.
• Follow up and monitor all livelihood activities as follows:
Vocational Training:
• Support the enrollment process by collecting and verifying beneficiary registration forms, identification documents, and required supporting materials.
• Coordinate with trainees before training commencement to communicate schedules, venues, and attendance requirements.
• Provide logistical and administrative support during training sessions, including preparing venues, arranging equipment and materials, and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
• Monitor trainer performance and ensure training is delivered within the agreed scope of work and quality standards.
• Follow up on trainee attendance, motivation, and engagement, including tracking and reporting dropouts to the responsible Officer.
• Collect and verify attendance sheets, session records, and participant feedback forms regularly.
• Conduct post-training follow-up with graduates to track outcomes, including employment status and linkages to grant opportunities.
• Report field-level challenges, risks, and successes related to vocational training to the responsible Officer regularly.
Business Development Training (BDT):
• Support the logistics, attendance tracking, and documentation of business development training sessions.
• Monitor trainer performance and trainees' motivation and engagement throughout the BDT cycle.
• Assist beneficiaries in preparing or updating their business plans during and following training sessions.
• Coordinate with beneficiaries ahead of sessions to ensure timely attendance and preparedness.
• Collect participant feedback on training content and delivery and report findings to the responsible Officer.
• Support the Officer responsible in preparing transportation allowances and managing activity-related supplies and materials
MSME Grants:
• Support community-level awareness and outreach on grant eligibility criteria, application procedures, and required documentation.
• Assist potential applicants in understanding business plan requirements and guide them toward available business development training sessions.
• Support the project team during the grant applicant verification process by facilitating access to community members and helping confirm beneficiary information.
• Assist in the documentation of the grant disbursement process, including coordinating with beneficiaries and ensuring timely communication.
• Provide regular follow-up coaching to grant recipients (start-up, scale-up, or asset replacement) using standardized tools through field visits or phone follow-up.
• Report any challenges, complaints, or irregularities related to the grant process to the responsible Officer promptly.
Provision of Tool Kits:
• Support the preparation and organization of toolkit distribution activities, including beneficiary communication and venue coordination.
• Assist in the distribution process, ensuring beneficiaries are verified, items are distributed accurately, and distribution records are properly documented.
• Collect signed acknowledgment forms and verify receipt of tool kits by beneficiaries.
• Conduct post-distribution monitoring (PDM) follow-up with beneficiaries to assess utilization of tool kits and report findings to the responsible Officer.
• Report any issues related to missing, damaged, or misused items to the Officer responsible immediately.
• Be responsible for relevant activity supplies, assets, and materials throughout the distribution process.

Qualifications
Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)
• University or technical institute graduates with preferably one year of relevant experience in the field that is relevant to livelihoods aspects such as CFW, micro-grants, Skills development and livelihoods paradigm, counselling and interviewing, follow-up, documentation and reporting.
• Very good communication skills oral and written.
• Good English skills in writing
• MS Office package literacy.
• Well organized, patient and familiar with humanitarian work.
• Precedence is given to applicant with volunteering experience in similar fields.
• We encourage the application of People with disabilities.
