Responsibilities
-Assist in the procurement of goods and services in accordance with organizational procurement policies and donor requirements.
-Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQ’s), Invitations to Bid (ITBs).
-Collect, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations under the guidance of the Procurement & Logistics Manager.
-Prepare and follow up on the bidding documentation. Create and maintain purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement tracking tools.
-Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
-Coordinate with logistics, finance, and program teams to facilitate procurement processes.
-Verify that procurement documentation is complete and properly filed (both electronic and hard copy).
-Maintain an updated supplier database and assist in supplier performance evaluations.
-Support market assessments and price surveys to ensure competitive pricing and field visits when required,
-Monitor procurement timelines and report delays or issues to supervisors.
-Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies, and local legal requirements.
-Assist in preparing procurement reports and monthly procurement status updates.
-Support internal and external audits by providing procurement documentation.
-Promote ethical procurement practices and maintain confidentiality throughout procurement processes.

Qualifications
-Institutional or University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
-Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in Procurement
-At least 1 year of experience with INGO or UN agencies.
-Arabic: Fluent (spoken/written) mandatory
-English: Fluent (spoken/written) mandatory
-Proficient user of MS Office (including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Excel
-Good communication and interpersonal skills, together with the capacity to remain calm under pressure and not
lose sight of strategic priorities
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize his/her own work.
-High level of transparency and honesty, organizational skills, and a high sense of responsibility
-Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in Procurement
